Let our Naturalist Guides lead your youth group, class, or family on a memorable journey through some of the most magical and biologically diverse places on earth in your own backyard. Interpretive hikes are designed specifically for youth with three program areas to choose from: Nature Connection, Nature Exploration, and Nature Stewardship.
Designed to foster beginning naturalist behavior. Children will develop comfort exploring and using the senses of seeing, hearing, touching to observe and discover the wonders of wildlife and local ecosystems.
Best for first time nature visits.
Refine observation skills using the senses for more specific learning goals. Use tools such as maps, field guides, magnifying glasses and binoculars to identify names of local plants, animals and geologic features.
Great match for school groups, programs can be adjusted for Common Core.
Connect to, and care for, local wildlife and habitat by working on a particular service project, such as: Habitat restoration, Trail clean-ups, and Planting events.
Ideal for earning community service hours.
