Crystal De Soto, Founderprofile fun

“It is amazing how a single interaction with the wild, be it swimming with a shark or being in the middle of a thunderstorm, can change someone’s life. Nature surrounds us all; we just need to slow down and look.”

Crystal is an interpretive trainer who holds a master’s degree in education and an undergraduate degree in earth systems science. Crystal has spent the last 20 years helping young people reconnect with nature through informal science experiences along with sharing her experiences with staff and volunteers throughout southern California.

A few of Crystal’s professional experiences include the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the NAT, Birch Aquarium, Cuyamaca Outdoor School, and the Wyland Foundation.  Crystal brings all of her personal and professional experiences together to create authentic and meaningful guide training and tours.
